Compare the 7.8-inch Little Sprout Chick and Little Tyler Turtle soft toys to find the best small plush for a baby shower gift or child's first stuffed animal.
Quick answer
For a playful, sunny baby shower gift, choose the Little Sprout Chick. For a calm, travel-themed companion that suits a modern nursery, go with the Little Tyler Turtle.
Size and portability
Both plush toys measure 7.8 inches (20 cm), making them ideal for tiny hands and stroller clips. Their compact size also fits diaper bags and travel cribs without taking up much space.
Because they are the same dimensions, your choice comes down to personality and theme rather than practicality.
Safety and quality standards
Both are independently safety tested and made from premium, ultra-soft materials. OB Designs has been producing Australian-designed soft toys since 2008, so you can trust the construction for infants and toddlers.
Neither toy has small detachable parts, which reduces choking risk. However, always supervise play as you would with any plush.
