Dusty Pony vs. Alby the Alligator: Which Stuffed Animal to Gift

Quick answer

Both Dusty Pony and Alby the Alligator are excellent 14-inch stuffed animals from OB Designs, but your choice depends on the child's personality: Dusty Pony suits a playful, circus-loving child, while Alby the Alligator appeals to a music fan with a cool style.

Trade-offs to consider

• Play theme: Dusty Pony supports circus and travel themes; Alby the Alligator supports jazz and music themes.
• Gift recipient age: Both are 14-inch plush toys suitable for babies and toddlers. The ultra-soft materials and safety testing make them appropriate for all ages, but the personality theme may resonate more with older toddlers who engage in pretend play.
• Visual appeal: Dusty Pony is a classic horse shape; Alby the Alligator offers a more unusual reptile design. If the child already has a horse plush, Alby adds variety. Consider the child's existing toy collection to avoid duplication.
