Decide if the 34cm Lee Lamb plush suits your toddler or baby gift, then follow simple washing and repair rules to keep it soft for years.
Quick answer
Choose the Lee Lamb Soft Toy 13.5" (34cm) when you want a cuddly, Australian-designed lamb that suits toddlers and makes a practical baby gift. Skip it if you need a tiny newborn comforter or a machine-washable toy with published care instructions.
Why 34cm works for toddlers but not newborns
At 34cm, Lee Lamb sits in the sweet spot between a portable lovey and a full-size cuddle companion. Toddlers can carry it by an ear or leg, and it is large enough to feel substantial during naps without dominating a crib.
For newborns, a smaller lightweight comforter is usually easier to manage and less likely to obstruct a sleeping baby. Keep the 13.5" lamb for supervised cuddle time until your child is older.
What the catalog does and does not tell you
The listing confirms premium ultra-soft materials and independent safety testing, which are the two facts that matter most for a plush toy going near a baby. It also states dispatch within 48 hours, free shipping over $95, and a 30-day full refund if you are not in love.
It does not publish a washing method, dry-time, or fiber content. Treat those as unknowns: follow the general care rules below and contact the store before machine washing if you are unsure.
Gift timing and shipping trade-offs
Orders leave the US warehouse within 48 hours, so the lamb can arrive quickly for a baby shower or birthday. Free shipping starts at $95, which means a single lamb may carry a shipping fee unless you add a blanket or second plush.
The 30-day return window gives you a cushion if the size or softness does not match expectations, but it does not cover normal wear from a child who has already bonded with the toy.
Decision rules for buying and caring for Lee Lamb
- Size check: Measure 34cm against your child's torso or favorite current toy. If the child is under 12 months, choose a smaller comforter first and save the 13.5" lamb for supervised play. A toy that matches the child's carrying ability gets used more often.
- Washing decision: Because the listing does not state a wash method, spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap first. If machine washing is necessary, use a mesh bag on a gentle cycle and air-dry fully before returning it to your child. When care instructions are absent, spot cleaning is the safest default.
- Gift or self-purchase: For a baby shower, pair the lamb with a blanket to reach the $95 free-shipping threshold. For a toddler birthday, the lamb alone is enough if you are comfortable paying shipping. Check the cart total before checkout to avoid an unnecessary shipping charge.
- Return window: Inspect the lamb within the first few days and keep the packaging until you are sure. The 30-day refund applies to unused returns, not to a toy that has already been chewed or washed. Delay the first wash until you have decided to keep the toy.
